Our school values ‘Be Proud, Aim High, Work Hard, Be Kind, No Excuses’ are at the centre of everything we do. Our vision is to provide students with a rich experience of school that empowers them with the qualifications, knowledge, skills and emotional resilience to enhance their own lives and the lives of others.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who shares our vision and values and is committed to making a valuable contribution to the work we do to promote social justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.

As a Deputy Curriculum Leader for PE you would be supporting the Curriculum Leader to deliver a relevant, engaging and well sequenced curriculum in innovative and creative ways. You would have the opportunity to continue your professional learning in a school that is passionate about improving what we do and how we do it.

'Leaders prioritise staff professional development and well-being. Those teachers who are new to the profession are very well supported. Staff are proud to work in the school' Ofsted November 2022

GCSE examination results are consistently very good and Ofsted (November 2022) identified that this is because 'students work hard and achieve well' and 'students’ benefit from a curriculum that is carefully sequenced and expertly taught by skilled staff'.

Closing date: Thursday 16 May 2024

We particularly welcome applications from suitably qualified and experienced colleagues who reflect the diversity of our school community.
